Parades need planning, and thought, and hard work. But mostly, they need people like you to make it happen.

The Hernando Veterans Parade needs veterans to be in the parade, volunteers to meet and plan, parade marshals to keep things moving and keep folks safe on the day of the parade, sponsors to help defer the costs; and people like you to show up, cheer, and wave flags.

Because, without you, there is no honor.

Our funding comes from donations, sponsors, and Foundational Sponsors. Click here to donate.

We are looking for Veterans’ organizations, individual veterans, social and community organizations, clubs, and any recognized group who would like to honor Hernando’s and DeSoto’s veterans.



Volunteers

Parades need workers. So, if you’re a worker bee and that’s how you’d like to help, do we have some jobs for you! But you gotta let us know.

Financial

Parades need individual and commercial sponsors. Ideas are great. Planning is great. Volunteers are necessary. But to make things really great, to make them really happen, money is needed.
