Lonely Soldier on the battle field

The Mission

We honor those who have served. Whether they fought, died, lived, were wounded, or simply gave of their time, these brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, deserve our veneration for their service.

Lest we forget them and what they have done for us, we publicly offer our thanks, our respect, and our admiration. It is both our duty and our honor.

A quick review of past parades  ▼

The Hernando Veteran's Parade

On Friday, November 10, 2017, the Hernando Veterans Parade kicked off at 10 am in downtown Hernando. This was the first Veteran’s Parade in Hernando in more than 40 years. And it was a rousing success.

We had 55 units, 350 band members, 150 veterans, and 832 students. As well as 1500 spectators. So, give yourself a great big hand.

Unfortunately, the  2018 parade fell victim to a rainout.

In 2019, we beat the rain by a few hours but we saw a slight drop in attendance, most likely because it looked bad. But we still had many, many folks cheering our veterans and  Filling the Square with flag-waving families.

2020 was cancelled by Corona Virus. We’ll be looking for you next year!
